Champions who conquer the skies of the world, those are the members of the Colombian Precision Paragliding Selection, who have brought home more than one triumph in recent months.
Their most recent feat was to tame the southern winds; the athletes ravaged the Chilean championship bringing with them male and female gold, medals that Nathalia Pinzón, from Santander, and Daniel Monsalve, from Antioquia, hung on their necks. The National Team also won silver in the Teams category and sixth place in the Open.
A month before, the victories came from faraway lands. Two days before the world championship, the British Open was held in Woldingham, United Kingdom, from which the delegation formed by Katire Loaiza, Jorge Hernandez and Eduar Gomez won. With the spirits in the clouds, the Selection faced the World Championship of Serbia, obtaining the bronze in Teams, the first obtained by the country in competitions of this stature.
The Colombian Precision Paragliding Selection is formed by Daniel Monsalve, Jorge Hernández, Felipe Arboleda, Cristián Cruz, Camilo Gómez, Nathalia Pinzón, John Gómez, Juliana Noscue and Fredy Loaiza, to whom we extend our congratulations.
